NBR (nitrile rubber) sheets are formulated to withstand the attack of oils and grease. This allows them to maintain their mechanical properties even when coming into direct contact with these agents.
In our range, we offer nitrile rubber sheets created specifically to withstand contact with industrial oils, hydrocarbons, kerosene and high temperatures. The main use for our nitrile rubber sheet is in the manufacturing of joints and other elements for industrial environments; food quality control, food processing and health industries. Particularly apt for transformer or dielectric oils for electrical installations and equipment.
XNBR (oil, grease and abrasion)
XNBR sheets are the best choice when it comes to industrial environments with the presence of abrasive particles and grease in equal parts, in which performance requirements are high.
HNBR (oil, grease and high temperatures)
In industrial environments with grease, HNBR sheets are the most appropriate for making coatings and joints where temperatures can increase rapidly. Even in the most extreme conditions, it offers the maximum guarantee of a long service life.
- Resistance to oils.
- Good mechanical properties, such as traction, compression, bending, and impermeable to gases.
- Moderate aging.
- Good adhesion to steel.
- Moderate resistance to cold.
- Chemical resistance; good resistance to inorganic chemicals, except antioxidants and chlorine. Compared to aliphatic hydrocarbons, their resistance is very satisfactory in general, but limited compared to aromatics.
Temperature range
Between -30ºC and 90ºC. Being able to get to -40ºC.
- Industrial maintenance.
- Electric transformers.
- Food industry.
- Seals.
- Special nitriles.
